OFFICIAL SALES

Due to the global popularity of the artworks created by Lincoln Townley, every purchase will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, stamped by the studio and signed by the artist.

Each certificate will state the description, size and medium of the work, and will be affixed with a security hologram. All certificate numbers issued from the studio are recorded to protect the integrity of the artworks.

CONFIDENTIALITY

The record of sales regarding original oil works and prints sold by the studio are handled with the strictest confidentiality, we do not share collector information under any circumstances.

AUTHENTICATING ARTWORK

Lincoln Townley Studio will not be able to confirm the authenticity of works by the British artist Lincoln Townley if they are bought outside of the Lincoln Townley Studio, nor can the Lincoln Townley Studio market, position or resell any works which are bought outside of the Lincoln Townley Studio.

When purchasing works by the British artist Lincoln Townley you will need the artwork to be accompanied by an authorised and signed certificate of authenticity which will have been signed by the British artist Lincoln Townley.

Authentication artwork investigations undertaken by the studio which creates the issue of an official certificate of authenticity will be charged at £2000.00 per art work. This corresponds to original oil works, Polaroid photos, prints/multiples and drawings/studies. The charge will be applicable whether the certificate of authenticity is required or not.

COMMISSIONS

The Lincoln Townley Studio Group pays a 20% commission to galleries, art agents and introducers for completed artwork sales. Commission payments are made by bank transfer once the Lincoln Townley Studio Group has been paid in full. Packing and transportation is organised by the Lincoln Townley Studio Group.

FRAMING

Original artworks and prints supplied from the studio are not supplied framed unless by prior arrangement.
